Drawing the Eye
1. Diagnostic Eye: In your sketchbook, divide a page in half. In the top section, use your pre-existing knowledge and a graphite pencil to draw a detailed eye that includes the following: pupil, iris, eyelid, eye lashes, eyebrow and value. Draw big and fill the top section of your page.
2. Guided Eye - In your sketchbook, draw an eye by following the step-by-step eye guide provided in the PPT and in hard copy. Your drawing should include the correct proportion guidelines. This is a guided activity and will be completed in class.
3. Independent Eye - On the provided paper, use a graphite pencil to draw a detailed eye that includes all the components covered in the Guided Eye activity.
