Procedure
CREATING THE COMPOSITION
1.Choose two objects.*
2.Draw a contour outline of these objects in your sketchbook. Overlapping the objects is encouraged. The objects may also go off of the page.
3.Trace stencils of a LETTER and a NUMBER on your paper. Rotate your stencil in directions that will add interest to your composition and fill any blank areas on your paper.
4.Draw lines in a variety of directions using a ruler (approximately 6 lines.)
5.Draw half-lines in a variety of directions using a ruler (approximately 5 lines.)
6.When your sketch (rough draft) has been approved, repeat steps #1-5 on a piece of 9x12 drawing paper. This is the drawing you will use to complete this assignment.
*Choose objects other than phones and laptops.
